Job Summary
Supporting the Chief Pilot in leading manned aerial survey flight operations, the full-time remote State Licensed Assistant Chief Pilot will provide training, operational oversight, and safety leadership for the line pilot group while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a positive safety culture through active participation in the Safety Management System
- Serve as the primary instructional authority and lead trainer for Line Pilots, overseeing ground and flight training
- Manage daily flight activities and provide operational decision-making support to pilots
Required qualifications
- Current CPL and CFI, MEI ratings
- Minimum 650 hours Total Time and 350 hours PIC
- Current Class 1 or 2 Medical
- Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Must be familiar with Part 91 operating guidelines
