State Licensed Assistant General Counsel

Job Summary

Collaborating with senior management and various departments, the full-time State Licensed Assistant General Counsel will provide expert legal guidance on commercial matters, including intellectual property, real estate, and labor relations, in a remote or on-site capacity across designated states.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer legal and strategic advice across diverse areas, including IP, real estate, and litigation, while managing matters end-to-end
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and policies, addressing commercial issues pragmatically
• Serve as a legal advisor for local exhibitions, assisting with employee relations and operational troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing of at least one state bar
• Minimum of 15 years of legal experience, with at least 10 years in-house at a media company
• Broad legal knowledge, including intellectual property, real estate, and corporate governance
• Exceptional drafting skills and ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the company
• Demonstrated leadership and analytical skills with a high degree of professional ethics and integrity
