Job Summary
Providing dedicated legal support to the Servicing Team, the full-time remote State Licensed Assistant General Counsel will manage compliance analysis, advise on collections strategy, and ensure regulatory adherence in consumer loan servicing operations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead compliance analysis and policy development under relevant regulations and state servicing laws
- Draft and maintain loss mitigation policies and collections strategies aligned with regulatory obligations
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise on the implementation of new rules affecting servicing operations
Required qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a practicing attorney in consumer loan servicing or collections
- Deep knowledge of consumer debt collections laws and related state regulations
- Experience advising on loss mitigation structuring in consumer finance contexts
- Membership in applicable state bar in good standing
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
