Job Summary
Supporting the legal team as a State Licensed Associate Counsel in a full-time remote position, the attorney will manage the drafting, review, negotiation, and oversight of various commercial agreements while collaborating with business stakeholders and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, redline, and negotiate routine and moderately complex commercial agreements
- Participate in negotiations, helping resolve redlines and supporting agreements through execution
- Maintain communication with the legal team regarding contractual terms and escalate higher-risk issues as needed
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar
- 1-2 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in commercial contracting
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with contract management software
- Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct legal research on commercial contracting issues
