State Licensed Associate Counsel

Job Summary

Supporting multiple teams in a remote capacity, the full-time salaried State Licensed Associate Counsel will advise on product development, marketing strategies, and legal risk mitigation while collaborating with product, engineering, and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Advising stakeholders across product, engineering, and marketing teams from early development through launch
• Reviewing advertising and marketing collateral, including claims, disclosures, and promotions
• Supporting trademark portfolio development and enforcement efforts, including investigating infringements and preparing legal documents

Required qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school and membership in good standing with at least one state bar
• 3-4+ years of legal experience, preferably with corporate and commercial entities
• Familiarity with marketing and product-related laws and regulations
• Experience in reviewing advertising and marketing collateral or a strong interest in developing it
• Exposure to trademark matters or compliance in hardware or consumer products is a plus
