State Licensed Associate General Counsel
Job Summary
To support a growing global clinical research environment, the full-time remote State Licensed Associate General Counsel will advise senior leadership on complex legal matters, oversee contract negotiations, and collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance and risk management.
Key responsibilities
- Advise the General Counsel and senior leadership on legal, regulatory, and operational risk matters
- Lead the drafting and negotiation of clinical research agreements and sponsor-facing contracts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance, data privacy, and regulatory obligations
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
- 8-12+ years of legal experience with significant in-house leadership in a CRO or highly regulated life sciences environment
- Experience with commercial contracting and global clinical research regulations
- Proven leadership and change-management capabilities in a matrixed organization
- Strong proficiency in legal technology platforms and workflow automation tools
