Job Summary
To support corporate governance and legal compliance, the full-time remote State Licensed Associate General Counsel will manage complex commercial agreements, provide healthcare regulatory guidance, and lead investigations while collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Support corporate governance activities and advise business leaders on legal risks and obligations
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements while managing outside counsel relationships
- Provide legal guidance on healthcare regulations and conduct internal investigations related to compliance issues
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one state bar
- Minimum 8 years of legal experience, including at least 5 years of in-house counsel experience in healthcare or a highly regulated industry
- Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, FDA regulations, and compliance laws
- Experience managing litigation and outside counsel, with a preference for knowledge in intellectual property and mergers
