State Licensed Authorizations Officer

Job Summary

Working fully remote, the full-time State Licensed Authorizations Officer will manage compliance with state and foreign authorization regulations for postsecondary distance education while collaborating with stakeholders and overseeing certification requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Promote compliance with state and foreign authorization regulations governing postsecondary distance education
• Oversee the development and implementation of compliance programs in alignment with UC policies and ethical principles
• Conduct training and educational programs for various stakeholders on compliance-related topics

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and experience
• Five years of experience in state authorizations, higher education regulatory compliance, or professional licensure
• Broad knowledge of regulations and laws related to state authorization for distance education
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and conduct training for diverse audiences
• Experience in managing stakeholder relationships and mediating conflicts
