Job Summary
To support the Social Services and Behavioral Health Department, the part-time State Licensed Behavioral Health Director will provide medical leadership, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and develop treatment plans for patients, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provides leadership and direction for the growth of the Behavioral Health program, establishing standards of care
- Collaborates with clinical teams to manage patient health and wellbeing, offering consultation and educational support
- Evaluates patients and develops treatment plans, including prescribing psychotropic medications and utilizing psychotherapeutic methods
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Psychiatry residency training program
- Current and valid state medical license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in psychiatry
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
