State Licensed Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

Overseeing daily operational activities, the full-time State Licensed Coding Supervisor will manage coding staff and vendor resources to ensure compliance with policies and regulations, while facilitating education and feedback to enhance documentation integrity and coding accuracy in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing leadership and operational oversight for employed and vendor-supported coding resources
• Monitoring documentation integrity trends and facilitating provider education related to coding accuracy
• Collaborating with PB-CDI and operational stakeholders to address recurring documentation concerns and promote compliance

Required qualifications:

• Associate's degree or two years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or CCS-P credential required
• Minimum of three years of coding experience in a highly computerized hospital setting
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
