Job Summary
To support the company's growth, the full-time remote State Licensed Commercial Counsel will provide legal guidance on contract-related matters, manage risks, and collaborate with internal teams to draft and negotiate a variety of complex agreements.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including agreements with health plans and vendor contracts
- Act as a business-minded partner to various teams, contributing to both legal and business aspects of contract negotiations
- Develop and implement processes and tools to improve the efficiency and quality of the contracting process
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top tier law school
- Admission to the state bar in which you reside
- 4-6+ years of legal experience, particularly in transactional law at a top tier law firm
- Stellar contract drafting skills
- Healthcare experience preferred, but not required
