Job Summary
To support a global organization, the full-time Remote Compliance Counsel will manage the company's ethics, compliance, and privacy programs while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the management of the global ethics and compliance program, including risk assessments and monitoring activities
- Advise business stakeholders on anti-corruption, trade compliance, and related regulatory matters
- Develop and deliver compliance and privacy training programs and oversee continuous improvement efforts
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in a U.S. state bar
- 10+ years of legal, compliance, privacy, or regulatory experience
- Experience managing ethics/compliance and privacy programs
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, U.S. privacy laws, and anti-corruption regulations
- Prior in-house experience with a multinational organization is strongly preferred
