State Licensed Compliance Counsel

Job Summary

Driving compliance and ethics initiatives, the full-time remote State Licensed Compliance Counsel will manage the end-to-end compliance investigations process, conduct sensitive investigations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance compliance operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of Pinterest's compliance investigations program, ensuring effective collaboration with internal teams
• Advise on investigation outcomes, conduct root cause analyses, and recommend improvements to investigation procedures
• Prepare updates on investigations and trends for internal stakeholders, including senior management and the Board of Directors

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in conducting complex and sensitive investigations
• Admission to the bar of at least one state, with the ability to provide legal services from the state of residence
• Experience in employment law and providing legal counsel on compliance issues
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
