State Licensed Compliance Director

Job Summary

Overseeing compliance efforts across the organization, the full-time State Licensed Compliance Director will manage relationships with regulatory bodies, ensure adherence to insurance regulations, and develop internal compliance processes, with the option to work hybrid or fully remote within the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with state Departments of Insurance (DOIs) and other applicable regulations
• Identify corporate compliance needs and develop internal standards and procedures through analysis
• Serve as a compliance resource for employees and management, providing guidance on regulatory matters

Required Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of experience in a compliance-related function within the insurance industry
• Juris Doctor degree and an active law license in good standing are a plus
• Experience building and managing a compliance function
• Knowledge of regulatory best practices for national insurance operations
• Strong research and analytical skills
