Job Summary
Providing legal counsel for various commercial real estate services, the full-time State Licensed Corporate Counsel will focus on contract negotiation, risk management, and general legal advice, working remotely or onsite across multiple U.S. locations.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver legal counsel to business lines, actively addressing legal matters with sound judgment
- Serve as a trusted advisor to service line professionals, aiding in the achievement of their goals
- Review internal shared services documentation, including vendor agreements and procurement documents
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in at least one State Bar
- 3 to 8 years of legal experience, preferably in-house within commercial real estate or a related industry
- Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in a fast-paced environment
- Strong business acumen with a focus on practical client advice regarding legal risks
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of general commercial law and real estate agreements
