Job Summary
Providing legal support for a rapidly growing fintech company, the full-time State Licensed Corporate Counsel will draft and negotiate commercial agreements, advise on contractual risks, and support payment processing operations while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including software licensing and payment processing agreements
- Advise business teams on contractual risks related to indemnification, liability, warranties, and data security
- Support payment processing operations and provide legal guidance on compliance with card network rules and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license and good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- 3-5 years of legal experience, including experience with commercial agreements
- Experience advising on payments, software, or technology transactions
- Knowledge of contract law and commercial risk allocation
