Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the full-time remote State Licensed Counsel will draft and review commercial agreements, assist with contract negotiations, and conduct legal research to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and revise commercial agreements, including NDAs and customer contracts
- Support contract negotiations and assist with product and regulatory matters
- Conduct legal research and support regulatory and licensing work, including preparing filings and maintaining records
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and an active bar license or eligibility for admission
- 0-2 years of legal experience in relevant fields such as law firm, in-house, or judicial clerkship
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Interest in contracts and commercial work with a desire to develop drafting and negotiation skills
- Curiosity about AI and a willingness to learn how to use it in legal practice
