State Licensed Cyber Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled State Licensed Cyber Consultant specializing in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), this full-time position will lead investigations and responses to cybersecurity incidents, conduct forensic analyses, and serve as the primary contact for external clients, with the flexibility to work remotely and occasionally travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate responses to cybersecurity incidents, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation of all incident response activities
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to guide them through forensic investigations and incident containment

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in DFIR
• Strong knowledge of digital forensics tools and techniques, including X-Ways or similar
• Experience with incident response frameworks such as NIST or SANS
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Digital Forensics, Computer Science, or a closely related field
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
