State Licensed DFIR Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled State Licensed DFIR Consultant, the full-time position will lead and coordinate responses to cybersecurity incidents, conduct digital forensic investigations, and serve as the primary point of contact for external clients, with responsibilities performed in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate responses to cybersecurity incidents, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation of all incident response activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and ensure alignment with incident response processes

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR)
• Strong knowledge of digital forensics tools and techniques, such as X-Ways
• Experience with incident response frameworks and methodologies, including NIST or SANS
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Digital Forensics, Computer Science, or a closely related field
• Flexibility to support occasional travel and work outside standard business hours
