Job Summary
Seeking a part-time State Licensed EEO Attorney, the role focuses on drafting Final Agency Decisions (FADs) and reviewing legal documents while working fully remotely for 20 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and prepare Final Agency Decisions (FADs) for civil rights complaints
- Review Reports of Investigation (ROIs) for legal sufficiency and assist with EEO complaint processing
- Conduct legal research and draft formal legal documents, including accept/dismissal letters and appeal documents
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) required; must be barred in a US State or Territory
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience writing Final Agency Decision reports at the federal level
- At least five (5) years of experience as a lawyer
- Knowledge of federal civil rights laws, including Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
- Exceptional writing skills and proficiency in legal research and editing
