Job Summary
Managing an active desk of litigated and complex liability claims, the full-time remote Employer's Liability Claims Representative will analyze coverage issues, strategize litigation, and maintain communication with stakeholders while ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Manages liability claims under business owner policies, focusing on employer's liability claims
- Analyzes coverage issues and evaluates new loss notices and claim tenders
- Documents claim files and collaborates on setting appropriate reserves for claims
Required qualifications
- BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience or a Juris Doctorate with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- State adjuster license required
- 3+ years of prior general liability or workers compensation claims adjusting experience
- Familiarity with complex medical injuries and treatment plans
- CPCU or other industry designation is a plus
