Job Summary
To support the implementation and optimization of Epic's Professional Billing application, the temporary remote State Licensed Epic PB Consultant will manage configurations, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance while collaborating with revenue cycle leadership and operational teams to improve billing efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Support Epic Professional Billing implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives
- Analyze and optimize revenue cycle workflows, including charge capture and claims processing
- Troubleshoot Epic PB issues and provide guidance on best practices and system configuration
Required qualifications
- Active Epic Professional Billing (PB) certification required
- 3-5+ years of hands-on Epic PB implementation, build, support, or optimization experience
- Strong understanding of professional billing operations and reimbursement processes
- Experience with Epic PB workqueues and billing workflows
- Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes and payer requirements
