State Licensed Filings Team Lead
Job Summary
Leading a team of filing analysts, the full-time State Licensed Filings Team Lead will ensure compliance with insurance regulations across all 50 states, conduct research and analysis on state-specific laws, and collaborate with internal teams to manage filings and reporting, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Mentor, coach, and train filing analysts on compliance initiatives
- Conduct filing activities in SERFF and respond to regulatory objections from state insurance departments
- Oversee annual compliance filings and ensure alignment with product and underwriting teams on regulatory changes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combined education and experience
- 3+ years of state product filings experience in the property and casualty insurance industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong analytical and math skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
