Job Summary
Experienced professionals will find a fully remote opportunity as a State Licensed FOIA Analyst, responsible for reviewing and processing complex FOIA cases, drafting responses, and maintaining detailed case notes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide FOIA/PA review and processing of pending, complex FOIA cases
- Prepare documentation for and draft responses to FOIA/PA requests, coordinating proposed disclosures
- Redact documents in accordance with agency/entity FOIA protocols, annotating appropriate exemptions
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a FOIA Analyst with FOIA processing products such as FOIA Xpress
- Earned Juris Doctorate (JD) degree
- Knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act and its amendments
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust eligibility
