Job Summary
Seeking a full-time State Licensed General Counsel, the successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of legal matters, including commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management, while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor to the Leadership Team on commercial, operational, and regulatory matters
- Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements
- Identify and evaluate legal and regulatory risks, providing actionable recommendations to support business initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive legal experience, including substantial in-house corporate experience
- Significant experience in drafting and negotiating sophisticated commercial contracts
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory compliance in highly regulated industries
