Job Summary
Coordinating state government relations and legislation, the full-time State Licensed Government Affairs Director will lobby on behalf of the company, direct government relations activities, and analyze legislative proposals while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Lobby state legislature and agencies, setting legislative priorities and developing public policy positions
- Analyze state regulatory and legislative proposals, preparing company positions and providing testimony as needed
- Serve as a liaison to health plan associations and prepare reports for the Board of Directors
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Political Science, Health Administration, or related field; graduate degree desirable
- Five to seven years of experience in government relations or lobbying with increasing responsibility
- Preferred experience in compliance/ERM of 7+ years
