State Licensed Hospital Price Analyst

Job Summary

To support pricing transparency initiatives, the full-time Hospital Price Transparency Analyst will maintain and optimize automated processes related to pricing tools, analyze hospital claims data, and ensure compliance with industry regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the proprietary pricing transparency tool to ensure compliance with regulations and code sets
• Audit price index results and collaborate with the development team to resolve data issues
• Create client-friendly price index reports and participate in the development of product enhancements

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 5 years of inpatient/outpatient coding and/or billing experience in a healthcare environment
• Active coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC is preferred
• Advanced understanding of government regulations impacting hospital price transparency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong Excel skills
