State Licensed Inside Loan Officer

Job Summary

Managing inbound customer inquiries, the full-time State Licensed Inside Loan Officer will guide prospective borrowers through the mortgage origination process from initial contact to closing, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and respond to inbound customer leads, providing timely and professional service
• Engage with prospective customers to assess financing needs and present appropriate mortgage solutions
• Maintain and grow an active loan pipeline through consistent follow-up and customer engagement activities

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in the mortgage industry
• Current SAFE Act mortgage loan originator licensure or eligibility to obtain it in designated states
• Experience evaluating borrower financial information, including income and credit
• Knowledge of retail mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and documentation
• Proven ability to convert inbound leads into mortgage application opportunities
