Supporting new teachers in their transition to the classroom, the part-time hourly State Licensed Instructional Coach will provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship through online platforms, ensuring educators develop essential instructional skills and confidence in their teaching practice.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with new teachers through blended online coaching, discussion boards, and one-on-one support
- Provide meaningful feedback by grading assignments and offering constructive insights
- Host virtual huddle sessions to facilitate collaboration and professional growth
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in the field of education
- Current teacher, instructional coach, mentor, instructor, or school administrator
- Active state-specific teaching certification in one of the eligible states
- At least 3 years of teaching experience with a strong understanding of instructional best practices
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting new teachers in their first years of teaching
