Seeking a full-time State Licensed Law Knowledge Expert to provide domain expertise in Corporate Law, Criminal Law, Family Law, Torts, International Law, and Non-US jurisdictions, guiding research teams and ensuring quality standards for AI training data in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in specialty legal sub-domains
- Create, edit, and maintain high-quality annotation guidelines for legal content to ensure accuracy and clarity
- Evaluate and grade the quality of annotations produced by vendors, providing feedback for optimization
Required qualifications
- Ph.D. or equivalent in a law-related field with valid Bar Licensure
- Over 10 years of experience in teaching law, working in a law firm, or serving as in-house counsel
- 5+ years of experience teaching or mentoring advanced legal concepts
- Extensive subject matter expertise in recognized areas of US or international legal practice
- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate annotation quality and provide actionable feedback
