State Licensed Legal Counsel
Job Summary
To support the IST Division in North America, the full-time hybrid State Licensed Legal Counsel will manage sales and purchasing transactions, provide legal advisory on compliance and litigation, and contribute to corporate governance while collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Review, draft, negotiate, and process a variety of commercial agreements and bid documents
- Advise senior leadership on litigation risks, regulatory compliance, and potential impacts on the business
- Support the management of local insurance policies and corporate secretarial work
Required qualifications
- 4-8 years of business transactional work experience in the tech industry, preferably in Fintech or ICT
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school
- Active and in good standing with at least one state's bar association
- Strong track record in negotiating and drafting complex business agreements
- Solid understanding of litigation, intellectual property, employment, antitrust, and data privacy laws
