State Licensed Legal Counsel
Job Summary
To support a growing international legal team, a remote State Licensed Legal Counsel with 1-3 years of in-house experience will draft, review, and negotiate contracts while providing legal support across various business functions.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on contracts for commercial transactions, including master services agreements and NDAs
- Manage state entity filings, annual reports, and corporate governance matters for US entities
- Collaborate with the data privacy team on privacy issues and support the legal needs of various internal teams
Required qualifications
- JD from an accredited US law school and active license to practice law in at least one US state
- 1-3 years of in-house experience, preferably in a technology, software, or SaaS company
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, especially in technology and software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support sales teams effectively
- Experience working with stakeholders across multiple functions
