State Licensed Licensing Manager

Job Summary

Leading a dedicated client pod, the full-time remote State Licensed Licensing Manager will oversee a team of Project Managers and Application Specialists, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance throughout the licensing lifecycle for a portfolio of 50-70 clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team, providing guidance on complex licensing issues and fostering a culture of accountability and quality
• Manage client portfolios, ensuring timely and compliant processing of licensing applications and addressing escalated client concerns
• Perform quality reviews of licensing applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to state regulatory requirements before submission

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in state licensing project management within the pharmaceutical supply chain, cannabis, or a similarly regulated industry
• Proven ability to manage complex client portfolios with multiple concurrent licensing activities
• Strong knowledge of state licensing regulatory requirements and application processes
• Experience in reviewing and quality-checking licensing applications for accuracy and completeness
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and licensing/project management software platforms
