Job Summary
To support the online division of the College of Education, a part-time State Licensed Literacy Adjunct Faculty will provide instruction in Data-Driven Literacy Assessment, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing future educators while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly discussions to engage students in the online classroom
- Adhere to grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
- Respond to student inquiries within established timeframes
Required qualifications
- Preferred: Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Leadership, or related field with valid state teacher certification
- Minimum: Master's in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Literacy, or related field with valid state teacher certification and reading endorsement
- Two areas of exceptional expertise
- Minimum of five years of experience as a K-12 educator
