Job Summary
To support a rapidly growing healthcare clearinghouse, the full-time State Licensed Litigation Attorney will manage affirmative disputes, regulatory complaints, and litigation while collaborating closely with executive leadership and outside counsel in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own Stedi's affirmative disputes from theory and factual development to regulatory complaints and litigation
- Build legal infrastructure, including litigation holds and discovery readiness, while automating processes for efficiency
- Translate disputes into commercial outcomes, working with leadership on strategic resolutions such as settlements or contract changes
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of experience litigating complex commercial disputes with first-chair experience
- Depth in antitrust, unfair competition, complex contract disputes, and regulatory enforcement, preferably in healthcare or technology
- JD and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce high-quality legal documents independently
- Resourceful and strategic, with a focus on cost-effective legal solutions and strong judgment in assessing legal positions
