State Licensed Litigation Consultant

Job Summary

Handling high-end cases involving serious injuries and complex coverage scenarios, the full-time State Licensed Litigation Consultant will develop strategies for case resolution while working onsite or remotely across various states.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews reports and inquiries, seeking legal opinions and facilitating early resolutions
• Identifies cases for settlements and manages the process, including coordinating with local counsel
• Attends mediations, trials, and hearings as necessary, formulating defense strategies and adjusting accrued liability

Required qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Professional certification relevant to the line of business preferred
• Secure and maintain the State adjusting licenses as required for the position
