Job Summary
To support Actuarial Leadership, the full-time State Licensed Managing Actuary will manage a team, oversee their work and development, and engage in pricing and financial reporting activities in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage one or more direct reports, ensuring quality and development of their work
- Support pricing, trend analytics, and financial reporting related to various teams including ACA and Medicare
- Participate in the Actuarial Rotation program, rotating to different teams every 3-4 years
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of related professional experience in the actuarial field
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, or a related field
- Current and active Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- Background in the health insurance industry
- Proficiency in Excel, SAS, and SQL
