State Licensed Mechanical Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading the mechanical engineering discipline, the full-time State Licensed Mechanical Engineering Director will oversee engineering operations, manage client relationships, and drive business development initiatives, with the flexibility to work remotely or from any client office across North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Mechanical Engineering consulting process and manage projects and personnel within the discipline
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong, long-term relationships
• Develop and implement business development strategies to support the growth of the mechanical engineering practice

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• Minimum of 15 years of mechanical engineering project and/or program management experience within an Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) environment
• Minimum of 8 years of supervisory or people-management experience
• Demonstrated experience supporting commercial programs, particularly in retail or multi-site environments
