State Licensed Medical Director

Job Summary

To provide medical and scientific advisory expertise across various therapeutic areas, the full-time State Licensed Medical Director will serve as a Medical Advisor on clinical projects, support investigative sites, and ensure the integrity of clinical trial designs while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Medical Advisor on assigned projects and provide medical support for protocol-related issues
• Perform medical reviews of trial-related documents, including Serious Adverse Events and Clinical Study Reports
• Support Business Development activities by providing medical/scientific input on proposals and participating in client meetings

Required qualifications

• A medical degree from a fully accredited medical school and an active medical license in good standing
• 5+ years of experience in clinical medicine beyond residency and 5+ years in clinical development
• Strong understanding of research methodologies, clinical trial design, and relevant regulations
• Experience in providing consultation and advice on multiple assignments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with public speaking experience preferred
