State Licensed Medical Director

Job Summary

Seeking a State Licensed Medical Director, the full-time remote position will manage a team of physicians while providing patient care approximately 30% of the time, focusing on scaling a high-performing medical group and driving clinical excellence in an AI-native healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Scale and lead a high-performing medical group, inspiring and retaining clinicians while maintaining quality standards
• Shape the physician experience and culture by driving initiatives that enhance engagement and retention
• Build and launch new clinical programs in collaboration with Product and AI teams to improve care delivery

Required qualifications

• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine with experience in longitudinal patient care
• 3+ years of post-residency clinical practice, preferably 5+, with experience managing chronic conditions
• Direct physician management experience, including coaching and performance management, with a preference for 3+ years
• Currently practicing medicine or having provided direct patient care within the last three months
• 10+ active U.S. state medical licenses and willingness to obtain additional licenses
