State Licensed Medical Director, MSK

Job Summary

To lead the development of a national Musculoskeletal (MSK) practice, the full-time State Licensed Medical Director, MSK will design the care model, build an AI system for care delivery, and manage a clinical team while providing direct patient care remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design the clinical architecture of the MSK program, defining care pathways and triage processes
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to create an AI interface that enhances patient care
• Lead and develop a team of clinicians, ensuring high-quality MSK care delivery across diverse populations

Required qualifications

• Board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, Rheumatology, Orthopedic Surgery, or Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with substantial MSK practice
• Significant clinical experience managing common MSK conditions in adults, particularly older adults with multimorbidity
• Demonstrated experience in building or redesigning clinical programs or pathways
• Strong belief in measuring and improving quality across a patient population
• Experience serving diverse patient populations with a commitment to treating members like family
