State Licensed Medical Education Director

Job Summary

To ensure the accuracy and integrity of medical education content, the remote Sr. Director, Medical Education will manage a network of contracted physician faculty, oversee medical content quality control, and collaborate with product and content teams to shape the medical education product strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and manage a network of contracted physician and clinician subject matter experts across various medical specialties
• Provide strategic input on content roadmap decisions and participate in planning for product modifications and new content initiatives
• Oversee the accuracy review process for medical content, setting standards for quality control across the organization

Required qualifications

• MD or DO; board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a closely related specialty
• Minimum 8-10 years of teaching experience at an accredited medical school or graduate medical education program
• Demonstrated experience writing and editing USMLE-style assessment items
• Proven ability to manage and quality-control medical content at scale
• Familiarity with USMLE blueprint structure and clinical vignette pedagogy
