State Licensed Medical Knowledge Expert

Job Summary

To support a short-term clinical data review project, the full-time State Licensed Medical Knowledge Expert will review de-identified inpatient health records and apply clinical judgment to case-based questions remotely from November 9 to November 27, 2026, following a paid training period.

Key responsibilities

• Review clinical judgment questions associated with de-identified hospital stays and draft answers
• Correct and explain inaccuracies in draft answers, providing clinical rationale based on supporting evidence
• Maintain a steady pace while ensuring accuracy in reviewing standardized items using a web-based annotation tool

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unencumbered U.S. medical license
• At least 3 years of clinical practice in the last 5 years in relevant medical fields
• Hands-on experience with inpatient EHRs, including clinical notes and procedure codes
• Board certification in a medical specialty is preferred
• Availability for 20 to 40 hours per week during the production period and for training sessions prior to it
