State Licensed Medical Review Nurse

Job Summary

To support quality reporting for End Stage Renal Disease, the remote, temporary contract State Licensed Medical Review Nurse will conduct medical record reviews, determine discrepancies, and participate in quality control activities over a six-month period.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ESRD medical record reviews comparing documentation to EQRS and NHSN for accuracy and timely reporting
• Determine and classify discrepancies based on the type and severity of errors, including missing data and incorrect values
• Participate in quality control activities to support corporate and team objectives

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the United States or an active compact multistate unrestricted RN license
• Associate Degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Two years of clinical experience plus two years in utilization/medical review, quality assurance, or End Stage Renal Disease/dialysis
• Strong clinical background in dialysis, managed care, home health, or medical-surgical settings
• Proficiency with word processing software and Microsoft Office
