State Licensed Medication Access Supervisor

Job Summary

Overseeing daily operations and staffing, the full-time State Licensed Medication Access Supervisor will manage a team of medication access specialists, ensuring efficient workflow management and collaboration with clinical staff in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule staff while addressing workflow gaps to maintain operational efficiency
• Conduct recruitment, performance evaluations, and provide coaching to develop a high-performing team
• Review medication authorizations and assist with benefits investigations and patient communication regarding financial resources

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate Degree is preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in healthcare or with pharmacy providers focused on medication access
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience, including staff scheduling and performance management
• State Board of Pharmacy Technician registration required within 6 months of hire
• Active CPhT certification preferred
