State Licensed Neurologist
Job Summary
To support a remote neuromonitoring team, a full-time State Licensed Neurologist will provide real-time interpretation of intraoperative neuromonitoring studies, collaborating with surgical teams to optimize patient care across the country.
Key responsibilities
- Provide real-time interpretation of intraoperative neuromonitoring data and communicate findings to surgical teams
- Correlate electrophysiological findings with the patient's clinical status to support surgical decision-making
- Conduct comprehensive post-operative case reviews and complete detailed reports
Required qualifications
- Board-certified Neurologist with expertise in electrophysiology
- Fellowship in intraoperative neuromonitoring required; doctorate in the field preferred
- Strong understanding of intraoperative neuromonitoring modalities (e.g., SSEPs, MEPs, BAERs, EMG)
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and perioperative care
- Prior experience in IONM is strongly preferred
