Job Summary
Providing exceptional clinical care to patients at remote hospital locations, the part-time State Licensed Neurology APP will collaborate with Tele Neuro Hospitalists, manage patient census, and develop treatment plans via telehealth platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinates and reviews patient census with Tele Neuro Hospitalist and develops care plans
- Obtains and reviews patient histories, performs comprehensive exams, and documents findings in the electronic medical record
- Communicates treatment plans to hospital personnel and instructs patients and families on clinical care
Required qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current NP or PA license in good standing with the state
- One year of Neurology APP experience
- Prescriptive authority and DEA number or ability to obtain
- Current BLS certification
