Job Summary
To support the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Program, the full-time remote State Licensed Nursing Clinical Coordinator will manage student preparedness for clinical rotations, facilitate preceptor engagement, and oversee compliance and documentation processes while collaborating with faculty to ensure high-quality practicum experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Provide structured support for practicum courses and verify preceptor approvals and clinical site eligibility
- Deliver high-quality instruction in assigned clinical or didactic courses, maintaining timely grading and communication
- Serve as a centralized point of contact for students, preceptors, and academic leadership regarding clinical processes
Required qualifications
- Doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD)
- Active board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
- Active unencumbered APRN License in PA, LA, TN, and GA (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum three years of full-time clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in clinical teaching, preceptorship, and/or student supervision preferred
