Job Summary
Providing scientific oversight and guidance for anatomic pathology evaluations, the full-time State Licensed Pathology Director will manage regional pathology operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while supporting clients and internal teams remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee anatomic pathology evaluations and ensure scientific rigor in study protocols and designs
- Lead regional pathology operations and optimize workflows to enhance productivity and client satisfaction
- Directly manage pathology staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
Required qualifications
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Medical Doctor (MD) from an accredited university
- Board certification in anatomic pathology by ACVP, ECVP, or equivalent is desired
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in pathology
- Experience in managing pathology operations and staff
- Knowledge of GLP, FDA, and other regulatory compliance standards
