Job Summary
To ensure compliance and accuracy in payroll processing, the remote State Licensed Payroll Specialist will manage multi-state payroll, perform quarterly and annual tax reconciliations, and collaborate with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing for assigned legal entities
- Review and reconcile payroll data, including timekeeping, while ensuring compliance with payroll laws
- Assist with payroll audits and prepare for year-end payroll processing
Required Qualifications
- Relevant Associate's degree or 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with payroll software
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing is preferred
