State Licensed Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure compliance and accuracy in payroll processing, the remote State Licensed Payroll Specialist will manage multi-state payroll, perform quarterly and annual tax reconciliations, and collaborate with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing for assigned legal entities
• Review and reconcile payroll data, including timekeeping, while ensuring compliance with payroll laws
• Assist with payroll audits and prepare for year-end payroll processing

Required Qualifications

• Relevant Associate's degree or 3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency with payroll software
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing is preferred
